Volunteering is central to everything LASSN does, and there are lots of ways to help us out. LASSN volunteers meet up with and socialise with refugees (Befrienders), help someone to learn English (Tutors), mentor them through college, or help someone find and maintain a place to live (Hosts, Coordinators, Grace/Eva’s House Volunteers). Our Volunteering Programme has been awarded the Leeds Volunteering Quality Mark
In exchange for your time and enthusiasm, we offer high-quality training and support and the chance to make a real difference in someone’s life.
Due to the nature of our work, we ask that our volunteers be willing to commit to volunteering with us for at least 6 months.
If you are thinking about becoming a volunteer, then please complete our application form below and we’ll be in touch as soon as we can.
