Leeds Asylum Seekers’ Support Network (LASSN) is a registered charity set up in 1999 to enable people from Leeds to welcome and support of refugees and asylum seekers in their city. Find out more
LASSN is committed to demonstrating the impact we have, so that our beneficiaries and funders can clearly see the difference we make to people’s lives.
We want to be judged against how well we measure up against our three key objectives.
The Grace Hosting project helps destitute people seeking asylum to somewhere safe to stay. Find out more
Connecting Opportunities connects refugees and other migrants with the right to work in the UK with a mentor or group activities that build confidence, improving English, and encourage friendships and connections. Find out more or refer…
Volunteering is central to everything LASSN does, and there are lots of ways to help us out. LASSN helps volunteers to meet up with and socialise with refugees (Befrienders), or help someone to learn English (Tutors), mentor them through college, help someone find and maintain a place to live (Hosts, Coordinators, Grace/Eva’s House Volunteers).
